Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) explains the rules and standards that apply to all users of the CelebWeave platform (“CelebWeave,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including event hosts, guests, vendors, partners, and visitors.

By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy, our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws.

Failure to comply with this Policy may result in content removal, account suspension, termination, cancellation of transactions, withholding of payouts where permitted by law or contract, or reporting to relevant authorities.

1. Purpose

CelebWeave is committed to providing a safe, secure, respectful, and trustworthy marketplace for event planning, RSVP management, vendor discovery, Aso Ebi coordination, QR code event access, and related services.

This Policy helps protect our users from fraud, abuse, illegal activity, and harmful content.

2. Compliance with Laws

You must use CelebWeave only for lawful purposes.

You agree not to use the Platform in any manner that violates:

• Applicable local, national, or international laws
• Consumer protection laws
• Privacy and data protection laws
• Intellectual property laws
• Anti-money laundering and anti-fraud laws
• Sanctions or export control laws
• Payment network rules
• Any other applicable regulations

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use CelebWeave to:

• Commit fraud or financial crime
• Misrepresent your identity or business
• Impersonate another individual or organization
• Provide false account information
• Create fake events or fake vendor listings
• Circumvent payment processing systems
• Engage in money laundering or terrorist financing
• Facilitate bribery or corruption
• Promote or conduct illegal activities
• Harvest user information without authorization
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
• Distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, or malicious code
• Interfere with the security or operation of the Platform

4. Prohibited Goods and Services

The following may not be listed, sold, promoted, or facilitated through CelebWeave:

• Illegal drugs or controlled substances
• Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or prohibited weapons
• Counterfeit goods
• Stolen property
• Fraudulent financial services
• Pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing schemes that violate applicable laws
• Gambling or betting services where prohibited
• Adult content or sexually explicit services
• Escort or prostitution services
• Human trafficking or exploitation
• Child exploitation material
• Wildlife trafficking or products derived from protected species
• Hazardous materials prohibited by law
• Fake identification documents
• Forged certificates or licenses

5. Event Restrictions

Users may not organize or promote events that:

• Encourage violence or criminal activity
• Promote terrorism or extremist organizations
• Incite hatred or discrimination
• Facilitate illegal conduct
• Violate public safety laws
• Misrepresent attendance, sponsorship, or purpose
• Infringe intellectual property rights

CelebWeave reserves the right to remove or cancel any event that poses legal, reputational, or safety risks.

6. Vendor Standards

All vendors must:

• Provide accurate business information
• Maintain all required licenses and permits
• Deliver services professionally and honestly
• Clearly disclose pricing and fees
• Fulfill bookings as agreed
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly
• Comply with all applicable health, safety, tax, and regulatory requirements

Vendors may not:

• Submit false reviews
• Manipulate ratings
• Use stolen images or copyrighted content without permission
• Engage in misleading advertising
• Request payment outside the Platform where prohibited by platform rules
• Misrepresent qualifications, certifications, or experience

7. Payment Integrity

Users may not:

• Use stolen payment methods
• Process fraudulent transactions
• Reverse payments in bad faith
• Attempt chargeback abuse
• Split or disguise transactions to avoid fees or controls
• Use CelebWeave as a money-transfer service unrelated to legitimate Platform activity

CelebWeave may delay, review, or refuse transactions that appear suspicious or violate applicable laws or payment provider requirements.

8. User Content

Users are responsible for all content they upload, including:

• Event descriptions
• Images
• Videos
• Vendor portfolios
• Reviews
• Comments
• Messages

Content must not:

• Be false or misleading
• Defame or harass others
• Promote violence or hatred
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Contain malware or harmful code
• Include unlawful or obscene material
• Encourage illegal activities

CelebWeave may remove content that violates this Policy without prior notice.

9. Reviews and Ratings

Reviews must:

• Reflect genuine experiences
• Be respectful and truthful
• Avoid offensive or abusive language
• Not be used to extort, threaten, or manipulate another user

Fake reviews, paid reviews without disclosure, review manipulation, or coordinated review campaigns are prohibited.

10. Intellectual Property

You may only upload content that you own or have permission to use.

You must not:

• Upload copyrighted music, images, videos, or logos without authorization
• Copy another vendor’s portfolio
• Use CelebWeave trademarks without written permission
• Infringe patents, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights

11. Security

You must not:

• Attempt to bypass Platform security
• Reverse engineer the Platform
• Use automated bots or scripts to scrape data without permission
• Test or exploit vulnerabilities without written authorization
• Share login credentials
• Access another user’s account without authorization

Security vulnerabilities should be reported responsibly to security@celebweave.com.

12. Privacy

Users must respect the privacy of others.

You may not:

• Collect personal information without consent
• Share confidential information without authorization
• Publish another person’s private information
• Use Platform data for unsolicited marketing or spam

13. Enforcement

CelebWeave may investigate suspected violations of this Policy.

Depending on the severity of the violation, we may:

• Remove content
• Suspend listings
• Cancel events
• Suspend or terminate accounts
• Delay or withhold payouts where contractually and legally permitted
• Restrict Platform features
• Report illegal activity to payment providers or law enforcement
• Take legal action where appropriate

We reserve the right to act immediately where necessary to protect users, the Platform, or comply with legal obligations.
